I've seen a lot of speculation that Michael Porter Jr.'s trip to the doctor was yesterday or today or tomorrow. I'm hearing some talk that it's not actually happening until some time next week.
I want to be clear that things can change very rapidly around this whole deal. It's kind of tough to have much of an idea what will happen because the truth is there's not really a set timetable or clear, concrete plan. It's basically wait until the doctor says he can practice full go and go from there.
Mike has done some non-contact portions of practice from what I've heard, but as he said last week, the goal of the visit to the doctor is to get cleared for full contact, which obviously hasn't happened yet.
The upshot is, there's no way he's playing at LSU. Ole Miss on Tuesday would be very surprising. Depending on when the doctor visit actually does to take place (next week could mean as early as Monday or as late as Thursday), Kentucky could still be possible, but maybe not likely.
As far as other Mizzou athletes who are visiting doctors, I do not have any information.
