We update the scholarship situation as we know it for the Tigers over the next five years.

A quick explanation:
Missouri currently has 77 players on scholarship. Only four of those are guaranteed to come off the books (Alldredge, May, Green and Evans) because the current super seniors don't count against the limit of 85. With 15 commitments, that puts Missouri at 88 scholarship players for next season if every single player comes back and every current commitment signs and shows up.
We know that won't happen. Here are the guys that technically have one more year that I would expect to forego it, whether by their choice or the staff. Remember, the staff does have to invite them back for the extra year. It's a two-way street (no inside information, just my best guess): Badie, Bakare, Parker, Cook, Hyrin White, Richard Taylor, Ben Key. I don't think those will be the only ones, but those are the seven I feel somewhat confident will move on using simple logic.
That wold bring Mizzou down to 81 scholarship players, meaning you could sign four more in this class without any question. That would get the class to 19 if there are no more transfers out, which, again, we know won't happen. That means Mizzou has up to 13 spots that could be cleared by players transferring out that could theoretically be used in this class. They won't all be used because you only have 13 guys scheduled to come off the books the following year so you're probably going to hold at least a handful of spots there.
Our best guess for the 2022 class remains somewhere between 24 and 28 total signees, which means nine to 13 more beyond what is on the commitment list today. We'd bet somewhere around half of those are incoming transfers, most of whom probably aren't in the portal yet.
