One note: Look for Adam Ploudre to start in place of Kevin Pendleton at left guard today if our intel is correct.
Little over an hour till kick. I'll provide you updates and intelligent thoughts as we go.
On Pendleton, I think he's a little banged up. Don't know that it's serious. We'll see if he plays at all.
40 minutes till kick. I have no genius thoughts that I haven't shared. Purdue has no pass rush and a questionable secondary. Missouri should be able to throw the ball.
Defensively, the tight ends are huge. Them against the Mizzou linebackers is the key matchup there in my opinion.
They just flashed on the jumbotron that Mizzou is 4th in the NCAA in total offense at 619 yards per game. Talk about a hollow stat.
Akial Byers is on the field in uniform going through warmups. Will be interesting to see if he plays today.
The crowd is, ummmm, terrible. The east side is probably 1/4 full. If I'm being generous.
I'll stick with my pick. I think Missouri looks good today and wins by 17. They're better than they've shown so far.
Purdue wins the toss. Boilermakers want the ball. Tigers start on defense.
