A good friend of mine has writ some books. I seen in his latest book something that I ain't sure is proper grammar. Help us out here.

He writes, "between he and his peers". Shouldn't it be "between HIM and his peers"?

He writes, "She spoke the words, but felt terribly knowing that she didn't really understand the deeper meaning of what she was reciting". Shouldn't be it "but felt TERRIBLE knowing that she....."?

Class dismissed.
