Somewhat dated. You can search by coach or by team and it will show present and past coaches.
This is the most interesting one I’ve come across so far:
Former Tennessee player on Derek Dooley:
"He was kind of a strange guy. He did not know much about football. He didn't know much from an Xs and Os standpoint. There would be a lot of eye rolls from coaches. He would leave the room and the coaches would tell us "let's scrap that." He was a really big ego guy. It was like being around someone who had money for the first time. He told people that they couldn't wear gold teeth anymore or their hair couldn't touch their jerseys anymore. One day he decided that we couldn't say the n-word anymore. Everybody ignored his n-word ban. He then decided that anytime he heard someone say the n-word, he was going to say the n-word. It got really bad because then players were trying to fight him. The team wanted Dooley out of there. I wanted to transfer anyway, but my mom got sick with cancer and I was trying to get closer to home. He denied my transfer at first. I wrote to the NCAA. He put stipulations that I could not go to a team on the schedule for the next few years and that I had to go somewhere within 3-4 hours of my mom in Illinois. He probably didn't think I could find a team, but then Charlie Strong called me so I went to Louisville. Once I got my transfer, I was not dressing for the last game of the year against UK. We thought Dooley was going to get fired. If you go back and watch you'll see a team that didn't want to play for a guy who didn't get fired."
