Class of 2019 baseball commit Wade Elliott won't be playing for MU this spring, Prospect League writer Ray Mileur announced last night.
Elliott, from Edmond, Oklahoma, announced this summer he'd forgo his senior year of high school to join the Tigers, but has decided to attend Grayson College in Denison, Texas, instead. He'll still play summer ball for the Cape Catfish in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, though, according to Mileur.
Elliott is listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds and plays first and third base primarily, according to PerfectGame.org.
