A strong majority of people who identify as native Americans apparently are not offended by the Washington Redskins.
What is your reaction? Let's not name call here. But what should be our standard for change? Are there levels of "racial slur"? Who should make the call here? Our friends in Illinois dumped Chief Illiniwek.
Our democracy was founded on majority rule but still protecting the rights of the minority - not meaning ethnic minority here exclusively, but the "losing side" on any vote.
Should they change the name? Is it just a sports team?
