Was listening to sports talk this weekend and they were projecting the CFP in its last year before going to 12 teams. They did not mention Mizzou but it occurred to me that we could have the best and most historic season and still be on the outside looking in. There are 4 teams that have a clear path if they do what they should. Washington, FSU, OU and either OSU/MICH could all end up undefeated. If that were to happen with a one loss SEC team being AL or UGA then the SEC gets one of the four spots. If there is an "M" on that helmet the committee says no way.
Think about that 12-1 Mizzou and SEC Champ, in the year before going to 12 teams, get the ultimate "Mizzou'd". I would happily take it but man would that suck.
