every one we played had to respect the run game from James Franklin that year. You saw that again first hand from Zanders. He gives the opportunity to be successful at both dimensions of the offense and teams have to respect that. Drew Lock has struggled against good teams, and since they know he isn't a threat to run they force him to beat them with his arm, which he cannot do, as of now. Those ball fakes from Zanders had the D completely fooled a few times tonight. While there is a huge gap in talent, this is what's making Alabamas offense so potent this year, even more so than years past. May be my knee jerk reaction but I'd say we have a QB controversy brewing, and I for one welcome it :)
