*As covered in another thread, Courtney Ramey has set three official visits and is considering two more. Missouri is not among them. He has seen Mizzou before and could easily take an unofficial visit. Sources tell me Missouri has almost no shot of getting him. His father did reply on Twitter, but I think this is a smart family who understands recruiting not publicly eliminating anyone.
*There was also some discussion on the board about Mario Goodrich. I've had two different sources tell me there's nothing to any rumor that he could commit to Mizzou soon. One source told me 0% chance. I don't like using 0% in recruiting, but I don't think Missouri and Goodrich are going to be a match.
*Part of that is the recent commitment of cornerback Chris Mills. We have tried and tried to reach Mills since his visit with no luck. I'm calling his high school coach here shortly to try to get more information. In addition, TCU commit Eddie Smith is visiting this weekend. That would max Mizzou out at cornerback.
*Here is the current visitor list. There's no way it's complete. There are going to be more visitors this weekend, including some uncommitted guys. We're trying to nail a few things down for the Chamber Friday morning, but I think this could be Mizzou's most important weekend.
*As of this morning, we do not have an update from Missouri on whether Josh Heupel will coach in the Texas Bowl. I would not think he will, but I don't know that yet. Missouri is efforting information for us on that and when I know more, you'll know more. My guess is that Joe Jon Finley would be an interim OC for the bowl game with Mizzou looking to fill the spot. The timetable will be interesting to me. I'd think if possible you'd like to have someone in place prior to the early signing period, but that may not be possible. I think the defensive coordinator spot could take a little longer to fill. Again, this is all just me spitballing. I don't have any inside info on these things yet.
