Will take his visit to Miami, expect a decision this week. LSU/Mizzou battle, but the Canes will get a chance to blow him away
Texas was seen as a pretty strong leader coming into the weekend. Mizzou felt it made up significant ground over the weekend. Is it enough? We'll see. Again, decision some time this week.
Visit lasts through tomorrow. Not sure at this point if he's got more scheduled. Having him in town the same weekend Darius Robinson just went in the first round is a definite positive.
Expect him to take a visit later this week, probably Thursday. Visiting Auburn before, Alabama after. Played for Corey Batoon and Bama DC Kane Wommack last year at South Alabama
The goal is to get Jacobs, Kelly and one of the DTs. Obviously Missouri would absolutely take both if both wanted to commit. But that seems relatively unlikely that they'll go to the same place. If they can get one of them plus Kelly and Jacobs you could see a younger defensive transfer that's a little more of a build for the future beyond 2024 type move, but not much else in terms of the portal.
Think these targets make clear what should have been clear for months: Missouri is pushing all the chips in the middle of the table for this season. Get all the talent you can, figure out who plays where and how much over the next few months and chase a title this fall.
If all goes well, the portal activity is wrapped up by next weekend. I'd look for at least one high school commitment this week too, perhaps more.
