We've been all over the spectrum with recruiters who can coach. We've had Quin, Suitcase Mike, and The Tulsa Two Stepper. Those guys could recruit, but weren't the best coaches for what we need. We've not had a good Xs & Os basketball coach since I was in high school. There's guys like Pearl, who can recruit, but don't bear fruit. There's guys like Shaka Smart, who can coach basketball, but hasn't proven he can reel in the big fish. Where do we go? I'd love to see Chris Collins or Jeff Capel. Someone who comes from a tree, who'll bring good bench guys with him. Candidly, I'm very curious about where we go with this. We're seeing coaches get axed mid-season, but we've sitting wondering how we're favored against LSU. That's a statement. Nevertheless, a mid-year firing can't happen if the guy we want isn't available, so we're gonna have to ride this out. Looking forward to the comments.
