Yes, I know there's a thread on the hire. From reading the IU boards and through the Twitterverse, it sounds like the consensus is that Peoples is a very good recruiter who has some pull in FL, but people question his coaching ability.
Several point out that IU led the B1G in sacks in 2020, but that a large portion of those sacks came on blitzes and very few were generated by the front 4 (I have my reservations on that take).
There used to be a page either with Rivals or one of the other recruiting sites that ranked individual coaches on their recruiting ability. Does that still exist anywhere?
All in all, this sounds like a really good get for Drinkwitz in terms of bringing in more high-level recruits.
