Can someone please explain why HCEE scheduled a midweek doubleheader against Western Illinois in Macomb Illinois??? I can understand the occasional midweek cupcake at home, or even a neutral site (boy we have scheduled a lot of those) series against a Big 10 school. But why travel on the road to Macomb Illinois, or all places? Its not going to help our RPI, or whatever it is that the NCAA uses to determine seeding in the postseason. It is certainly not going to help our Lady Tigers toughen up for SEC play against top notch foes LSU and Florida. It is certainly not TV-worthy for the local student-run tv station, let alone the SEC Network. Of course we'll see our Freshmen not named Amanda Sanchez or Paige Lowary get some more playing time. That's about the only positive I see out of all this.
