I have been incredibly impressed with 10 of the 11 starting players on defense. They are playing at a high level and amazingly that extends to the second team players at most positions. It really has been amazing. However, I noticed watching the game the first time but is even more obvious watching a second time that our senior safety is really struggling. Angles are terrible and tackling is even worse. There are so many whiffs - wow. If the wiffs were at least going for aggressive/jarring hits that would be one thing but they are soft whiffs. Have we ever replaced a team captain in the line-up as Ross has looked much better?
