Away game tickets went on sale at 9 this morning for TSF donors and season ticket holders. Glad I set a reminder on my phone.
I had to "wait in line" for about a minute before getting access to the Ticketmaster site. According to my receipt, I bought seats 83 and 84 for the LSU game.
Game Tickets. Check.
Plane Tickets. Check
Hotel in NOLA Thursday night. Check.
Car rental. Check.
B&B in Baton Rouge for Friday and Saturday nights. Check.
Mizzou vs LSU in Liberty Bowl 1978 Seat cushion located. Check.
The seat cushion was the media gift for that game. It was the only bowl game I covered as a sports editor and I was allowed in the locker room. Thank you, former SID Bill Callahan, who 18 months later became my (then) husband's boss. I've waited a long time to use that seat cushion and I'll be really, really old the next time we play at LSU. Trip of a lifetime.
