To me, the succession plan at QB is the next major challenge which Barry Odom is going to need to figure out in order to be our coach long term.
There are other critical challenges which need to be dealt with as well (such as reviving the defense) but the QB can sink a team.
Taylor Powell, Jack Lowary, and Micah Wilson are all on the roster. It feels like Wilson is the leader in the clubhouse and he will be a redshirt Junior by that time. We are definitely exposed here. Chase Patton, Chase Daniel, Blaine Gabbert and Drew Lock were all elite 11 guys and there is no one currently waiting in the wings that matches their profile.
