If you have been around businesses of late in almost any category, staffing has been a huge problem . Finding enough employees has been part of it. Finding motivated staff is much harder. "Quiet quitting" is a big problem. As a result productivity and service has taken a big hit.
Another issue that is huge in the problem above and lack of national productivity is that there are 7 million able bodied men between 25 and 54 that don't have a job nor looking for one. They spend 2000 hours a year on screens ..full time job hours. Drugs and crime are certainly are a part of it but the vast increase of lazy bastards is alarming.
