I was wracking my brain on this. I have even argued with a couple posters on this issue. Finally I stumbled onto this article from Brookings.
It is the SALT Deduction CAP. Trump raised taxes on the super rich in CA, NY, IL, MO, etc. That SALT CAP smoked richers. It was a huge increase. It didn't hurt Texas richers or Florida richers as hard as we don't have state income tax.
I have said and will always state, the biggest CON JOB of the dem party is that they want to get this SALT Deduction CAP removed immediately. That's right, they want to drastically lower the taxes on the super rich.
