I'm re-reading through his update and he's saying that Sterk brought a list of 3 candidates - Holtz, Monken, and Anderson.
"Yes, those three are involved in this process"
"One of those three could be Missouri's coach"
"It is not guaranteed one of those three will be Missouri's coach"
"I believe Missouri will reapproach guys it has already to"
"I believe it will approach guys it hasn't yet talked to"
So, wouldn't that lead you to believe that the board said to Sterk, "Those 3 candidates aren't good enough. We're pushing back on you to explore the other options"?
And for those freaking out that we might not have a coach after a week of searching - you do know that Arkansas and FSU have been searching for much longer, right?
