Many of you are criticizing Hall for "quitting" on his teammates. The guy has a chance to be a top 100 selection in the draft. Aggravating the injury further could jeopardize that.
Sure, it wasn't a great look that he "quit" after getting his stats, but bowl games (save a few) are insignificant. No one knows who won the Liberty Bowl in 2016 without looking it up, so it's not like winning or losing the 2016 Liberty Bowl had a tremendous impact on either school.
I'm not suggesting we lost because Hall "quit," but I believe Hall being a great pro will pay off more for Mizzou than winning the 2018 Liberty Bowl would have.
