People with more intel to our program and background knowledge of things please inform why Missouri can't be viewed on an even playing field as Minnesota as far as a job search when they landed the next hot thing in PJ Fleck?
Minnesota is in the lesser of the two Big 10 divisions and avoids having to play Michigan and Ohio State every year. Missouri is in the lesser of the two SEC divisions and avoids having to play Bama and LSU every year (and Auburn for that matter).
Im not aware of some big tradition they have but I know within the last 20 years we have played in a handful of conference championships and decent to good bowl games.
I feel like our facilities are just as good if not better than theirs. How are they able to go get the guy they want and we're here discussing 7-5 Blake Anderson and Jay Norvell's of the world?
