So the past 15 years or so have seen an explosion of women in the Sport Entertainment world
I saw this tweet from JSB interviewing Katie Nolan about her time on FS1. Nolan used to be exclusive YouTube with her show Garbage Time (which I really enjoyed). She went to FS1 and I thought it was still good. Then she left FS1 and she went to ESPN and her career plummeted. I blame this a little on Nolan's issues with Goodell, a little too much girl power, and forgetting what made her show great. I can't find much that she does now other than living off the big money ESPN gave her.
BUt this made me think of the explosion of Women covering sports and having their own sports shows, etc. There are obviously some of those who broke the glass ceiling and some sideline reporters who were first. But I mean the show hosts.
One of the main ones I really remember and got big money was Michelle Beadle. Her career took off like a rocket, she left ESPN, went to NBC Sports for the money and her career puked, then back to ESPN, got a big contract, now I think she does some radio and NBA on ESPN. Her career still puked and now she does Spurs games on TV.
There are others, Jamelle Hill obviously. JSB was on of the FS1 early people.
One to watch will be Annie Agar. First off, her career launched on Twitter. She works for NFL network. She maintains her funny videos for content. She is probably the best looking of the crew (part of the requirement for women, sorry, that's what gets eye balls).
The women who veered into politics had their careers derailed IMO. Rachel Boneta also had a good career launch and then it puked. Booted from NFL network.
I used to enjoy the show Lock It In that she did with Clay Travis and some other betters doing gambling picks.
WHo are some other of these ladies whose careers took off? Whose careers died, etc?
