I will be the first to admit that I don't like womens basketball. I don't think as a whole it is a good product.
I do however extremely enjoy watching greatness. I really like watching the women's national soccer team. I liked watching Kerri Walsh and her teammmates in the Summer Olympics. And who can forget Kerri Strugg landing that vault on one foot? Oh and there is some girl in black and gold named Sophie that I am amazed by on a weekly basis now along with her tiger teammates.
Then the USA womens hockey team took the ice last night. And they gave us another one for the history books. Just wow. These are the moments in sports that give me the chills.
My point? I don't think the politically correct, socially conscious or in some cases the media will ever understand. I didn't care if your black, white, Green or blue. Man or women or both. Or have one leg. We love to watch greatness. Because no matter who you are, if you embody greatness it means you have hustle, skill, technique and HEART. This is something we can all admire. And I don't think this is exclusive to sports. It doesn't matter who your are, if you have greatness in you...SHOW ME.

I also invite everyone to tune into the paralympic games at some point. You might just see something amazing. I suggest the slopestyle. Its wild.
