I hate watching that loss as much as everyone else because for the most part it was dreadful basketball. However, I have to remind myself this is Year 1 after possibly being the worst team in Division 1 and our roster is still 70% kids that made up that team.
It’s frustrating because we SHOULD be about 17-2, without a top 5 pick. It’s also easy to forget they had to restructure their offense after MPJ went down. We’re 1 true scorer away from being a very good team and that guy is on the end of our bench (whether he ever plays for MU or not).
Needless to say I’m pissed they played terrible, BUT I’m still excited just to care again and equally excited for what the future brings. Especially with the potential of actually getting kids in state to stay home now and again.
