Mizzou, the BOC, in true Mizzou fashion has failed as a university when it comes to sports. Join the SEC, called at 100 year decision(correctly), but the BOC, small minded as it is, shits the bed, yet again. I know Sterk isn't perfect, but the small town, small minded, parochial minded folks in the Boone County Mafia give credence to the story of Mizzou being a misfit, a backward looking school. Mizzou cannot get out of its own way. That might include Jon Sundvold. How in Gods name does BOC keep shitting the bed when it comes to athletics? This is like watching a movie of a small town that fights the modern world, like Footloose. It is amazing the Gary Pinkels of the world came, and stayed thru this stinking 1960s mental mess. As a St. Louis resident, non native, who argues on Mizzou's side, I'm out. Blame Sterk, Alden, etc., but one main theme is the same. The U of M is a small town, small minded, Pleasanetville place. The Boone county mafia is a joke. Deaton, Alden, Pinkel KNEW the decision on SEC was a 100 year decision. The BOC did not. I truly think some of them are trying to derail Sterk, and other things. Shame of this university. Fire away, it is a joke. I'm enjoying the Blues, Cardinals. I hope KC folks are enjoying Chiefs, Royals. Mizzou so reminds me of a small town school district fighting the new interstate. Sterk should walk out. So should Choi, Cartwright.
