Had a career-high 21 points last night. Went to my high school and a group of us had the pleasure of watching him and Cason Wallace in their senior seasons. Richardson High had the No. 1 team in the country before being upset in the third round of the playoffs.
Cason was the 10th pick in the draft and is now playing for the Thunder. They were so fun to watch. Both unselfish players who got everybody involved and got after it defensively. And in the fourth quarter you could always count on a highlight-reel dunk or three. Fun to see them now and to think back to where they were just a couple of years ago. (Now I see tweets about Cason guarding LeBron.)
I wrote the following during their run. It was a special journey for a lot of reasons.
