I decided to take my son to the game yesterday. Bought tickets and they gave me tickets directly behind the plate. As the game went on I struck up a conversation with the young lady beside me. Turns out she was the sister of Tanner Houck, yesterday's starting pitcher. His entire family was there to support him. His sister indicated to me that Tanner had several interested schools including Ole Miss and Vandy. She knew they had talked to Tanner but was unsure if they actually offered. She said that Tanner had always liked MU and obviously made the correct choice in becoming a Tiger. If those schools did offer and he choose MU, that is a nice get for the program. Kid threw a great game and you can see why his future is bright.
