I made a post last Spring about a super talented 8th grade girl runner which blew me away when I saw her run at a MS track meet at North Callaway.
Well ELYSE WILMES didn't disappoint this Fall in her first year of HS XC at Tolton...as she won State and led her team to a State Championship:
"Elyse led the entire race and won it by more than 20 seconds over second-place Lilian Jackson. The freshman found herself with nobody around her from 1,000. She had a 5.2 seconds lead at the 2K marker."
Now...today I read about this super talented Sophomore boy from Rock Bridge, ANDREW HAUSER,
"Andrew Hauser is only a sophomore, but the Rock Bridge runner is making a case for becoming the greatest boys high school cross country runner in Missouri history."
Looks like Mizzou has some very elite talent right here I their back yard...
