I'll update the original post with thoughts from the game, which is going to get started in a little over 10 minutes.
Feel free to comment/complain/critique, what have you.
PRE-GAME
Couple of changes to the starting five. KJ Walton and Russell Woods come in, joining Clark, Puryear and Phillips.
FIRST HALF
16:19 1H -- Missouri's off to a strong start, shooing 50-percent from the field and getting to the line early. 3-4 from the charity stripe so far to take a 7-2 lead.
14:48 1H -- Missouri gave up a wide-open three to cut the lead to 9-5. Woods has been off to a fast start on the glass with three rebounds, but he was subbed out in favor of Rosburg.
11:29 1H -- Showing some good patience on offense, Missouri uses the whole shot clock before finding CVL open for a three at the top of the key. 14-5 Tigers, Gant has come off the bench to grab 5 rebounds already.
8:19 1H -- Easily their most active rebounding game to date. Tigers already have 19 boards, 9 offensive, while Pine Bluff has 6. Missouri is shooting under 30-percent though, having some issues with Pine Bluff's zone. They're getting it into the lane but then rushing shots over a smaller opponent. Tigers up 19-8.
6:49 1H -- Missouri has eight turnovers (UAPB has six) and they can't make a shot around the hoop. Two FTs by KJ Walton pushes the lead to 21-8. Walton has five points.
6:24 1H -- Rosburg runs the break with Phillips, Phillips feeds Rosburg for a jam in traffic and he's fouled. Three-point play, Tigers up 24-8.
4:55 1H -- A three-point FG by Wes Clark draws a timeout by UAPB, Missouri in the middle of a 13-0 run and extending their lead to 29-8.
3:52 1H -- Clark nails another three on the very next possession, UAPB hasn't scored since 10:49 in the game. Tigers up 32-8 now and are cruising, buoyed by a good night on the offensive glass.
1:52 1H -- Clark hits another three in transition. Pine Bluff scores its first points in 8 minutes with a 1-2 showing from the FT line with 2:30 left; still haven't made a FG since 10:49 in the 1H. Tigers up 39-9.
0:00 1H -- Robinson hits a three for UAPB with under a minute to go to erase a ten-minute FG drought, but that's it. Missouri leads 39-12 at the half.
Wes Clark has 11 points (4-4 shooting), 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Gant and Woods have combined for 17 rebounds.
SECOND HALF
Original starting five back in for Missouri to start the second half, Tigers up 39-12.
19:06 2H -- Pine Bluff nails a three to start, then Walton turns it over. Phillips gets whistled for a foul on the other end, and UAPB scores out of the inbounds. 39-17, Missouri.
17:54 2H -- Puryear scores after an offensive rebound, Missouri gets a rebound by Phillips on the other end, and Woods dunks and is fouled, making the field goal. Tigers push their lead back to 27, 44-17.
15:40 2H -- Missouri up 46-17 at the under-16 TO. Puryear threw down a monster dunk after Woods' dunk. Tigers only have 6 fouls for the whole game; no player has more than 2.
13:14 2H -- Missouri has extended its lead to 50-17 before one made free throw by UAPB. Gant and Woods each have ten rebounds. Tigers up 50-18 now.
11:36 2H -- Missouri up 52-18 after Wright steals a pass and goes coast to coast for an uncontested dunk. Allen draws a charge on the other end that sends us into the under 12 TO. Gant has a career high 11 rebounds tonight.
8:57 2H -- Missouri gets threes from Isabell and Wright, answered by one from UAPB in the middle, and Missouri leads 60-21.
6:54 2H -- Missouri up 62-21. Not a game anymore. Hasn't been for some time. Updates will be more sparse as I start to write.
2:22 2H -- Missouri up 74-25, this will easily be the most lopsided win under Anderson and it may be the fewest points scored in a game by an opponent at Mizzou Arena.
78-25 final. We believe UAPB scored the fewest points against Missouri since 1947.
