I'm curious.

If you got your undergraduate degree at one school and your master's, PhD. JD, MD, DVM, etc, from a different institution, which one do you consider "your alma mater" or are you most loyal to? Or is it both?

The term "it's her alma mater" has been thrown out a lot today. DRF mentioned in her letter that she was embarking "on this new chapter back to my alma mater." She went to UCLA for for her undergraduate degree. Her law degree is from Arizona.

I just have that Mizzou BJ degree and the only member of our immediate family who has advanced degrees also received his bachelor's from Mizzou. So I have no personal knowledge of this situation.
