Has there ever been this big of a swing in excitement for the future of the basketball/football teams in Mizzou history?

I can’t remember a time when one looked so destined to be great while the other looked stuck in mediocrity and in 12 months both completely flip flop.
I still like Gates but my god this team has some glaring needs for improvement and not only can they not improve they got worse….
So damn frustrating
