Couple observations from games I’ve been to over the last few days…
Luke Walsh from Vianney is NOT a high D1 level player. His on court antics are over the top to borderline embarrassing honestly. A mid major program is where he’ll slot in nicely at.
Smadjic, also from Vianney, is a guy who gets lost in the game a lot. He doesn’t take over like a player of his potential should.
Adkinson, from Webster is the real deal. Sat next to his BBE coach and he’s made massive strides since June. His perimeter shot is the next focal point. Oddly enough, he lives in Marion, IL and Webster Groves (and they say public schools don’t recruit😂😂😂). He’ll be at Webster for one more year before he moves on to OTE.
Purvey, also from Webster, is a great get for UMSL next year. Think a smaller Kalen Grimes minus the handgun.
Point guard Foulk from DeSmet, only a freshman, is a player to keep an eye on. He and Adkinson are teammates on BBE.
Also stopped by and watched Chaminade vs Tolton, Rowe did not play, but it sounds like he’ll become eligible January 11th to suit up. Tolton still took Chaminade to OT before losing.
Jahadi White has twin monsters at Chaminade! Both have a different type of skill set where one is more of a power forward type (Jahadi Jr) and the other is more of a stretch 3 (Jamison). Still can’t get over how he has juniors in high school already! This Chaminade team is loaded and only loses one player to graduation this year. This is all coming off a nearly 40 point win over SLUH.
