I think it's worth mentioning how differently Brady Cook and Kyle McCord handled the challenges to their starting position. When faced with an open competition at qb, Brady Cook responded like a warrior. Got better in the offseason, worked his ass off, and had one hell of a year. Played through some injuries this year and bled for the wins. Literally. McCord on the other hand, responded to adversity by pissing his pants, and skulking off to wherever the easiest path was to starting. Ended up at facking Syracuse. Hell, he even pussed out at NU when he found out they were going to get Raiola. McCord doesn't want to compete. He just wants the position handed to him by default.
