There were an astonishing 65 elite performances in this meet!!!
In the boys' 1600m run there were FIVE FUYS under 4:20 for the mile. The top four times were 4;11, 4;11, 4:12, and 4:14...a hard-luck guy ran a 4:18 and went home without a medal and his season is done as only the top four go on to sectionals.
My Troy Buchanan Guys WON an exciting 4 x 100m relay with a school-record time of 43.29!.
The Rock Bridge boys' 4 x 200m relay team shattered the state record by nearly TWO SECONDS running an incredible 1:24.90 which averages out to 21.22 per man.
Rock Bridge is totally stacked and should win a state title in a couple of weeks,
They went 1-2 in the 100m running 10.46 and 10.53, 1-3 in the 200m, 1-3 in the 400m, 3-5 in the 800m, 1, 3,4 in the 1600m, and 2, 3, 4 in the 3200,
They were 3rd in the 4 x 100m relay and won all the rest (4 x 200m, 4 x 400m, and 4 x 800) of the relays.
They don't have much in the field events or hurdles...but their strength on the track is just crazy!
