Thinking through this and what is expected to come the rest of the year, I think this year might be the biggest flip in 50+ years of MIZZOU basketball (at least where I tracked it to into the 1970’s)
Looking back historically our biggest year to year flips in wins/losses were recent:
22’-23’ - +13
17’-18’ = +12
14’-15’ = -14
Beyond that we’ve not had that many wide gaps. I think it’s entirely possible that we see at least a (-)15 spread in records this year compared to last. It’s simply astonishing how much of a 180 this thing has done in 12 months. And very disheartening.
