Not sure about any other KC guys, but listening to the Border Patrol with Jake, Steven, and Nate has been a morning ritual for me ever since I left college.
On the show this morning Jake announced he was leaving the station and moving to Colorado to pursue different things. In my opinion, the Border Patrol is by far the best show on 810 and the guys do a hell of a job with other events around the city. They've been together for 15 years and I doubt many other radio crews stay together for that long on the same show.
Going to be weird for a little bit without him on, just hope it doesn't change the brotherly jabbing/joking nature of the show in the mornings.
