When the renderings for the SEZ were released, fans were underwhelmed. Many felt that the renovations fell quite a bit short of expectations. However, in my opinion, I don’t think the SEZ renovations was ever for the fans. I think it was about the players. If you look under the hood, it’s quite nice.
The NEZ renovations is all about the fans and making the stadium ‘look’ more SEC. This is why the reactions were much more positive about the NEZ renderings.
