Isn't it weird Daniels isn't the runaway Heisman? He's got the most passing TDs(40), is only behind two guys by less than 100 yd passing. Has 1000+ yds and 10 TDs rushing. He has carried his team that would otherwise possibly be under .500 in shootout after shootout.

Meanwhile 4 of the top 6 QBs in passing yds are in the PAC 12. Doesn't that suggest the conferences pass defense sucks? Yet Daniels is doing it in the best conference with some of the best defenses in the country.

It's like saying Gordon is better than Schrader when his stats are in the Big 12 and Schrader has flatly refused inflating his stats. He could have 200 more yds and a few more TDs if he didn't tell Drink it's not what we're built on.

Unfortunately I think the PAC 12 going away will give Nix, who never had these kind of stats in the SEC, the trophy. Despite Daniels having a better year than Burrows previously thought untouchable year. Thought this thing was supposed to go to the best player.
