When I first read that satellite camps where a focal point of the SEC meetings I was excited. I figured we would finally be able to have satellite camps in the SEC. Now I read that their discussions aren't to allow them in the SEC, but to petition the NCAA to not allow other conferences to do them, either.
I see them as a good thing, allowing teams to get a chance to see kids that may not come from the richest families and can't afford to travel halfway across the country to visit a school during the summer.
