FOOTBALL RECRUITING

Missouri had another solid weekend of action on campus, hosting another set of high-priority targets and resulting in two more commitments in the 2024 class. Here is a breakdown of what took place.

TWO MORE COMMITS

- The Tigers added their second and third commitments of the 2024 class with in-state offensive tackle Ryan Jostes on Saturday, followed by their No. 1 quarterback target Daniel Kaelin who announced his pledge on Monday.

Both were back at Missouri over the weekend. Jostes was actually at Missouri on Thursday and Saturday while Kaelin also took another two-day visit with the Tigers. They join Joplin (Mo.) tight end Whit Hafer in Missouri's 2024 recruiting class that currently ranks 34th nationally, according to Rivals.com.

VISITORS PLANNING TO RETURN FOR OFFICIALS

- Three-star OL Jo Cryer and three-star WR Kylen Evans were also at Missouri over the weekend and the Tigers made a big impression on each. Both told PowerMizzou.com they had an amazing time with the coaching staff and plan to return to Missouri this summer for official visits. No dates have been locked in yet, though.

Evans visited Texas Tech earlier this month and has a trip planned with Tulsa on April 8th. Cryer is planning to visit Mississippi State, TCU, Ole Miss, and take an official with Oklahoma State this spring.

We just posted a story on Cryer this morning, which you can check out HERE. We'll have more on Evans and his visit in the next few days.

FOUR-STAR OL HAS MIZZOU IN HIS TOP 10:

- Kankakee (Ill.) offensive tackle Marquese Easley also made a return trip to Missouri at the beginning of the week. The four-star prospect had previously visited Columbia for a game back in October. Mizzou was the first school to extend an offer to Easley and his relationship with the staff has been impressionable as he included the Tigers within his Top 10 over the weekend.

Other schools among his top group include Michigan, Alabama, Penn State, Florida State, USC, Oklahoma, Michigan, Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas A&M.

Easley also made a return trip to Michigan over the weekend as well.

MISSISSIPPI CONNECTION:

- The state of Mississippi was also represented on Missouri's campus over the weekend as OL target Kobe Williams was in Columbia on Sunday. The three-star has had an offer from the Tigers since September and was impressed with the time he spent with the coaching staff, in particular offensive line coach Marcus Johnson, also a native of Mississippi.

So far Williams has visited Mississippi State this spring and has trips planned to Tulane, Southern Miss, Memphis, and La Tech.

DB TARGET BACK AT MIZZOU:

- East St. Louis (Ill.) DB target Leon'Tre Bradford has been on Missouri's campus many times already and could be a one to watch as a potential next commitment for the Tigers. The three-star continued to build his bond with defensive coordinator Blake Baker, who sees Bradford as versatile athlete that can play any position in the secondary.

Bradford said he plans to visit Wisconsin this spring as well.

TALENT FROM THE BLUEGRASS:

- Jeremiah Lowe was another Missouri target that made the trek to Columbia over the weekend to give the Tigers' program a closer look. While the three-star is listed as a wide receiver, Missouri likes him at defensive back. Lowe spent a lot of time with cornerbacks coach Al Pogue during his visit. The Lexington, Kentucky native said he's "definitely a fan" of Missouri after his visit. He plans to visit Cincinnati, Marshall, and Michigan later this spring.

LB TARGET ON A RETURN TRIP:

- Michael Boganowski was another returning visitor to Missouri over the weekend. The three-star was in Columbia back in November, but continued to build his relationship with the Tigers' staff over the weekend, particularly linebackers coach D.J. Smith. Missouri likes Boganowski's ability to play multiple linebacker spots and cover sideline-to-sideline as well.

Kansas State is making a strong push for the Junction City native and Michigan just offered as well. He'll be in Ann Arbor this coming weekend.

TWO RB TARGETS FROM TEXAS CHECK OUT MIZZOU:

- Missouri hosted both Joseph Dobbs and Kedren Young this past week for visit.

Dobbs checked out Missouri on Monday. The Tigers extended an offer to the three-star prospect back on February 1st and he's been communicating with running backs coach Curtis Luper throughout the process. "Coach Luper, he's definitely one of the best coaches talking to me," Dodds noted of his relationship with Luper. He also noted Missouri's entire staff and facilities were amazing during his visit.

During his junior season, Dodds rushed for 1,633 yards and 12 touchdowns and possesses 4.4 speed in the 40.

Young is a four-star prospect and ranked within the Rivlas250 with an extensive offer list that totals 24 currently, so getting him on campus was also a big deal this past week. Here is what Young had to say about his time at Missouri.

"Me and my family had a great time. I really like how serious the coaching staff cares about their athletes. Every person who works there takes their job seriously and wants what is best for their athletes."

As a junior, Young ran for 1,751 yards and 19 touchdowns while averaging 7.3 yards per carry.

NEW 2025 QB OFFER:

- While Missouri picked up their No. 1 QB target in the 2024 class on Monday in Daniel Kaelin, the Tigers are identifying top QB targets in the 2025 class as well. They hosted three-star Kelden Ryan for a visit on Wednesday and extended an offer to the Forth Worth, Texas native during his time on campus.

THIS WEEKEND

- So far, the two notable visitors that are expected on campus for Saturday's spring game will include Cameron Keys, a three-star cornerback from Florida. He'll be on campus along with the return of in-state, Rivals250 DL target Tionne Gray, who has the Tigers among his Top 5 and was recently on campus for a visit a couple of weeks ago as well. Gray told us he plans to take April visits to Oregon (8th) and Minnesota (22nd), but it currently seems Mizzou is in the driver's seat.

We'll update the list of visitors throughout the weekend as we get them, so keep it locked to PowerMizzou.com
