I didn't see the Mizzou teams of the 60s, but I think this was the most physical Mizzou team I can remember. Even playing OSU, Georgia, Tenn, Florida, and LSU I felt we matched up physically to each of those teams, and were probably more physical than almost all of them.
The 2007 and 2013 are debatable if they had better seasons, but neither team was as physical on both sides of the ball as this team. The 1998 team was pretty solid in both sides as well, but not as impressive as this team.
Really impressive getting the talent here but also the strength, conditioning and coaching to get them to play this physical- it was not smoke and mirrors this year..
