Wide receiver Nalin Scott surged 110 spots to No. 140. He's expected to release a top list soon, after receiving an offer this past summer from Peeler, who also recruited Scott's high school wide receiver coach.

This should and probably will get tossed out on a motion to dismiss. He would have to show (1) that it was false, and (2) damaging to his reputation, among other elements. He can’t show (2). He won. There’s no damages he could plead that would withstand an Iqbal challenge. It’s a totally ridiculous lawsuit.

But he’s not expecting to win. He’s expecting to make her hire lawyers to fight this, and thus create a chilling effect on other pollsters, journalists, what have you. He’s sending a message: say something I don’t like and I will make you spend money defending yourself.

This is how he does it. He doesn’t pull licenses, he doesn’t have the military come in and shut down a TV station or a newsroom. He can’t do that. He knows he can’t. He takes his dick-sucking buddy Elon’s money and sues, sues, sues. Same game plan Orban used in Hungary when consolidating power.
