Nwaneri signs with Missouri, probably collected over $2 million NIL for a freshman year of development and will now transfer. Missouri gets absolutely nothing for their investment.

The number 1 recruit in basketball just committed to BYU for $7.1 million NIL/year. He will likely be one and done or could freely transfer after one year.

Bill Self claims that his starting 5 are costing $21 million in NIL.

Where is the loyalty? Where is the sanity? It’s a bidding war and the highest bidders will win out.

Brady Cook may not be a superstar talent, but he stuck around and was loyal. He bleeds black and gold. He is a dying breed.

How do you stop a runaway train?

How about making the school accepting a transfer pay back the previous years NIL to the school losing the player? So if Nwaneri goes to Georgia, then Georgia has to pay Missouri Nwaneri’s freshman NIL costs.

I wish I didn’t like college sports so much. I wish I could just walk away.
