When
Missouri added
Jacob Yoro to its staff, it opened a recruiting avenue to the West Coast.
Yoro, the Tigers' safeties coach, has frequented California this offseason, and this past week, he offered Class of 2027 four-star
Gavin Williams, a Rivals250 safety prospect.
"I liked how he was from the West Coast and told me he likes to recruit and connect out here from Hawaii to California," Williams said. "He sees me playing safety for him, for sure. He said I was the top safety on the West Coast."

Williams' versatility attracted Yoro. The four-star showed an ability to shift between free safety and the STAR position, totaling 44 tackles, three interceptions and three pass deflections during his sophomore season at La Verne (Cali.) Damien.
With over 30 offers to his name, Williams hasn't ruled out any school based on distance, willing to play anywhere in the country, even in the Midwest.
"Any SEC offer is a huge offer for me, because I'm just from Cali," Williams said. "It was definitely a great feeling and looking forward to keep building my relationship with Coach Yoro."
Missouri safeties coach Jacob Yoro continued his pursuit of California prospects by offering Gavin Williams.
