My oldest daughter (9 years old) today said, “I need to get back to school.” I asked “Why is that?” She replied, “I don’t yet know everything. Although like Lisa Simpson I’m pretty smart. I know like half the things! I’ll probably only ever know half the things no matter how hard I try!” God love her! I told her it takes a mighty bright person to recognize they “only know half the things, and probably always will.” Be smart enough that you know no matter how much you ever know that you will only know “half the things!”
