With a beautiful night behind the 3pt line. I don't care who we played tonight that is better than I could have hoped for from Mark.
Other things I liked:
JT: he just looks so much more mature, and developed out there.
Xavier Pinson: you can tell there will be some rough times this year but the kid has sizzle. He's going to be a good one.
Watson: I have a feeling Torrence will develope into a player that quietly drops 25 on you and it just seems smooth. His baseline drive, followed by a head fake and reverse was a crafty move. I wonder if his lack of minutes is due to the level of defense that Coach Martin demands out of his players.
Pickett: Speaking of defense...the kid looks like a future stopper and his release is very pretty.
Mitchell: I am just happy for the kid.
Nikko: his post game has developed along with his patience when he does get an opportunity.
Would have like to see Jordan shoot it better tonight but I thought he made solid decisions and didn't force too much.
Puryear is a great Tiger. He's weathered the storm but man was his game ugly tonight. Honestly if Kevin can give solid minutes, some boards (10 tonight), and not hurt us in games I'm fine with that. He made his Mark against Auburn two years ago and I'll forever be a fan bc of that shot.
