Last night in the replay of the Mizzou-ku basketball game from 2012, Ron Franklin and Dick Vitale spoke about the upcoming departure to the SEC. They said that the Mizzou fans reaction to leaving the Big12 was "mixed, at best". Is this true?
I know that A&M (Disclaimer / Class of '82) was 100% in favor of leaving, just to get away from the grasp of the longhorns. I understand Missouri folks have a different view of him, but R. Bowen Loftin was a God at A&M, if for no other reason than what he did to get them out of the Big12.
