With Blake Harris and CJ Roberts gone, Mizzou will be in the market for one, or possibly even two point guards this spring. I know a lot of people see this as an opening for Courtney Ramey, but as has been discussed in other posts ad nauseam, the likelihood of Ramey coming to Mizzou is extremely small.
Mizzou will more likely go the JuCo and/or grad transfer route. One name to keep an eye on is Gillette College PG Trent Williams. He’s avering 14.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game in one of the nation’s better JuCo regions. He’s hearing from coaches at a number of high-major schools, including Cornell Mann and Mizzou.
I’ll do some more digging to see if they’ve been in contact with anyone else.
