Da'Ron Parks had been waiting on the Tigers.
The Class of 2026 offensive tackle talked with members of the Missouri staff, but it was an offer from the program he wanted. Through the business of the transfer portal, offensive line coach Brandon Jones and assistant offensive line coach Jack Abercrombie managed to stay in contact with Park.
But It wasn't until Wednesday when the Tigers finally pulled the trigger on a scholarship opportunity. While at a mid-week workout, Parks, the No. 125 recruit in the 2026 class, missed a call from Abercrombie, and when he called back, he heard the good news.
"As you know, Missouri is big on outside zone," Parks said. "They're a very, very, very big outside-zone team. That was one of the things I needed to work on in my game with outside zone."
